โฐ The Alpine Workshop is held every two years to promote interdisciplinary research on the Alps and Alpine-type orogens.
โก ๐ฏ This year marks the centenary of the publication “La Tectonique de l’Asie” (September 1924) by รmile Argand (1879-1940), to whom this conference is officially dedicated.
๐ฏ The conference aims to promote the discussion of new data and interpretations on the evolution of the Alps, the Apennines and adjacent peri-Mediterranean orogens. The meeting will be held in an informal and friendly atmosphere that will bring together senior researchers with young and early careers scientists.
