Erasmus+ ICM Mobility for Georgia

We are excited to announce our participation in the Erasmus+ ICM Mobility for Georgia project, an important collaboration between the University of Siena and Ilia State University (ISU). 🎓🤝

This initiative aims to exchange knowledge and experiences on teaching and research methodologies applied to natural and cultural heritage conservation, with a focus on:

🔹 Slope stability analysis
🔹 Palaeo-landscape reconstruction
🔹 Advanced geomatics techniques, including remote sensing, drone photogrammetry, and terrestrial laser scanning

Through seminars and workshops, we explore new opportunities for cooperation and develop joint projects to address challenges in cultural heritage documentation and preservation.

We expect to strengthen ties between our institutions, enhance the professional growth of faculty and researchers, and provide students with new opportunities for training and research. 📚🌱

This project aligns with our universities’ modernization and internationalization strategies, contributing to the creation of a stronger and more global academic network. 🌐
