The Center of GeoTechnologies (CGT) of the University of Siena is equipped with 7 lecture rooms and 5 computer labs for educational activities.

Most of the classrooms are located on the ground floor to ensure easy access for all users, while some are on the second floor, accessible via stairs and an elevator. The spaces have been designed to promote maximum inclusivity, allowing easy use even for individuals with reduced mobility.

The facility is organized to optimize space and resources, ensuring a wide availability of workstations and constantly updated technological equipment. Connectivity is provided by the University’s Eduroam WiFi network and wired workstations, ensuring stable and fast internet access, essential for research and academic study.

All lecture rooms are equipped with a teacher’s computer workstation, a projector, an audio-video system, and internet connectivity to ensure a functional and technologically advanced learning environment.

These tools enable effective interaction between students and teachers, enhancing the learning experience and promoting collaborative learning both in person and through synchronous online teaching.

All computer labs, in addition to a teacher’s computer, projector, audio-video system, and internet connection, are equipped with student workstations. The classroom computers have the necessary specialized software installed for lessons that include hands-on exercises.
