The Italian Geological Society organizes the CARG Geological Survey Summer School for 2023. The school aims to disseminate methodologies and criteria of geological surveying and cartography, conceptual organization of data and digital archiving system in compliance with the criteria of the CARG Project.
The School provides 7 days of field survey work in small groups supervised by experts and will be accompanied by lessons and exercises.

ORGANIZERS: Italian Geological Society and the Geological Survey of Italy – ISPRA, with the collaboration of prof. Paolo Conti (University of Siena – Department of Earth and Environmental Physical Sciences and Center for GeoTechnologies) and Prof. Giancarlo Molli (University of Pisa – Department of Earth Sciences).
DATES AND LOCATION: 5-11 June in the Apuan Alps, based in Orto di Donna (Lucca – Italy).
FEE: € 310 (SGI member), € 440 (non-member)
The fee includes full board for 6 days (from Monday evening to Sunday morning included) at the Donegani Refuge (Minucciano – LU – Italy) in shared rooms.
