The CGT in Cagliari for the XXXIV National Running Championship for University Employees

🏆 Great success of the University of Siena in Cagliari for the XXXIV National Running Championship for University Employees 🏆

Cagliari, May, 6th 2023: Enrico Gattai of the Center for GeoTechnologies is the captain of the team of the University of Siena at the National Running Championship which took place at Lungomare Poetto, set in the spectacular Golfo degli Angeli (Sardinia – Italy).

The race involved a large number of athletes participating in a route of 5.4 km for the women’s race and 10.4 km for the men’s race.
From the very first steps, the competition proved to be compelling and deeply felt by over 200 participants from universities throughout Italy and of all ages, obviously divided into categories.
The awards ceremony for the women’s and men’s competitions, absolute and category, held in the amphitheater of Marina Piccola and the greedy social lunch at Caesar’s Hotel, where all the universities were present, were exciting.
To underline the participation in this National Running Championship of three Tuscan universities, which all obtained excellent results: the University of Florence, the University of Pisa and the University of Siena.
