The three-year professionally degree course in Technologies for the Environment, Constructions and Territory (L-P01) is a programme of the University of Siena that qualifies graduates to practise as a Graduate Surveyor.
The programme aims to train qualified professionals capable of managing specific technical and professional activities related to construction, civil and rural infrastructure and, more generally, to environmental and land management.
The educational objective of the degree programme is to provide students with the tools needed to interpret the complexity of building, infrastructure, land monitoring and development projects, fostering the transition from traditional design, construction and monitoring systems to digital approaches based on the implementation of advanced geomatics technologies (e.g. GIS, Remote Sensing, Laser Scanning, BIM).
Career prospects include self-employment as independent professionals, as well as technical positions in engineering companies, legal or business consultancy firms, construction companies, real estate management companies and public bodies responsible for land management and control. Employment opportunities are also available in technical roles within public administrations.
